Hannah joined Richmond Good Neighbours as a volunteer in January 2017, becoming a Trustee and Chair in October 2019. Hannah has spent the last 14 years working in Philanthropy for organisations such as The University of Bath, King’s College London and The Courtauld Institute of Art. She is currently the Deputy Director of Philanthropy at The Institute of Cancer Research, London (ICR). Hannah has lived in Richmond for almost 10 years and enjoys travelling in her free time, particularly around North America.
Chris has worked in a variety of senior financial positions in the oil, gas and power generating industries over the last thirty years with resident assignments in Saudi Arabia, California and Finland.
Most recently he was chief executive of MJ Gleeson Group for four years before retiring in 2010.
Until recently, Chris was a non-executive director of Severfield Plc, a structural steel manufacturer and Optilan, a telecommunications integrator from 2010.
He is currently Chair of Governors at Rossall School, Lancashire and the Chair at Royal Mid Surrey Golf Club.
Anne has been a volunteer with Richmond Good Neighbours since 2013. Originally from Belfast, she moved to London in the early 1980s and has lived with her family in the Richmond area for over thirty years. In 2018 she retired from a career in teaching spanning 40 years. For over thirty years Anne was the Head of Mathematics at The Tiffin Girls’ School in Kingston. In retirement she has taken up playing bridge, developed an interest in photography and is enjoying a number of trips abroad.
Harriet has been a trustee of Richmond Good Neighbours since April 2018. She moved to Richmond in 2010 with her husband and three children, but knows the area well having grown up here. Harriet has also lived in Paris, Boston and Harrogate. Harriet has had a varied career working as a banking lawyer, a French teacher and currently as a PA for a criminal barrister.For Harriet, it is important to contribute to the local community through volunteering and she is also a trustee of the Orange Tree Theatre in Richmond.
Michelle has worked in marketing for international luxury food brands for over twenty-five years. She became a trustee for Richmond Good Neighbours in August 2018, and is both an active volunteer and a regular in the office to provide cover when needed.
Michelle has lived in Richmond since 2001 and in her spare time enjoys cooking, hiking with her husband and volunteer dog walking in Richmond Park.
Michelle has enjoyed developing close relationships with her RGN clients. Having seen the positive impact of the charity’s work she is keen that RGN is widely known in the area and helps as many people as possible in the local community.
Matt has held a variety of senior management positions in the IT sector and worked in both Germany and the USA. He has been working for the local NHS for ten years in communications, quality and organisational development roles across south west London.
In 2016, Matt took a sabbatical and travelled extensively through Australia, New Zealand and south east Asia.
He has lived in Richmond for seventeen years and is in the process of undertaking a complete renovation of his house. Matt has been a volunteer and trustee for Richmond Good Neighbours for seven years and enjoys building relationships with clients over time.
Russell joined Richmond Good Neighbours as a volunteer in October 2016 and became a trustee in September 2020. He moved to Richmond in September 2016 after living in the US for 2 years.
Russell works in asset management, is married with a young family and is a big fan of anything sport or fitness related. He is involved with the Wellington Management UK Foundation which gives annual grants to charities around London, as well as being on the finance committee for The Passage, the UK’s largest homeless shelter.
Anne joined Richmond Good Neighbours in May 2018 as the organiser.
She has a background in high street retailing, which included a period working in Hong Kong. On returning to the UK she started an online business which she ran for 14 years.
Anne has lived in Richmond since 1987 with her husband and three sons where she has been involved in a range of local voluntary activities. Anne enjoys walking her spaniel in Richmond Park, cooking, reading and travelling.
