We were delighted to welcome 50 volunteers and guests from across the Borough to the Winter Party. Guests included The Mayor of Richmond, Cllr. Ben Khosa, Cllr. Michael Wilson, Cllr. Pamela Fleming, The Revd Wilma Roest and the Trustees who very kindly, provided the food and drink.

In his speech, The Mayor thanked the volunteers for the enormous contribution they make to the lives of so many isolated and elderly residents in Richmond, whether driving to medical appointments, doing the shopping or just being a friendly companion over a cup of tea.  Volunteers in Richmond are the unsung heroes of the Borough and it was an honour to be able to sing the praises of the Richmond Good Neighbour Volunteers.
